We are lesbians and feminists and our writing reflect that. Our heroine in the Fran Farthing books is a dyke from Dublin, Ireland, who goes to live in the rural west of the country following a tough break-up. Between us, we have plenty of experience of living as lesbians in a city and have both relocated to the countryside of Co. Mayo.
